Hi, I’m Jerry. Like most of you I've taken pictures with point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones for a long time, but it wasn't until 2021 that I started to consider myself a photographer. While planning a family trip to Alaska, I decided at the very last minute that the trip warranted some better photos than what I'd be able to produce with my smartphone. I purchased a used DSLR camera from a friend and with very minimal preparation I was off to the The Last Frontier.
This family vacation was an amazing adventure. Many of the photos I took were awful, but some of them were great! The highlight of the trip was flying into Lake Clark National Park where I was able to get unbelieve up-close images of the coastal brown bears who live there. From the moment that I got home and looked at those images, I was absolutely hooked. I've since become an award-winning nature and wildlife photographer.
I'm a dad, a big Dungeons and Dragons nerd, and also the guy who some people say is responsible for the Culver's Curderburger. Book a session and I'll tell you the story and probably a few terrible dad jokes as well.
